Primary school

Teaching goals
Smooth application of the curriculum designed by the Ministry of Education and Training and the US-based curriculum. Students who finish the AIS primary school can continue study at schools in the US, Australia, Singapore, etc.
Teachers are trained professionally at local and international schools of teacher training.
Students become well rounded with dignity, intelligence, language command and great tastes of art.
 




Teaching method
• AIS apply smoothly the process of conveying knowledge to students following the Active Learning method so as to develop fully students’ abilities.

- Teachers study each student’s character, expand teaching subjects and help students acquire skills for self learning so as to improve their independent thinking.


Students at AIS are particularly trained in building these skills:

- Students’ academic knowledge follows the Ministry of Education and Training curriculum while their foreign language command is acquired through an international program.

Curricula
AIS curricula follow that of the Ministry of Education and Training. Our teaching quality is comparable to that of state-owned special schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
Students’ certificates are granted by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The international curricula include Maths, Sciences, Computer, Fine Art, Music, Aerobic etc.
English language curricula: basic and conversational English curriculum under which students learn four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Public Speaking curriculum under which students improve their listening and speaking kills by learning with American teachers.
Upon finishing primary school, students are certified with Starter, Mover and Flyer certificates granted by Cambridge University, which will help students continue studying at foreign high schools around the world.
